We're racing again on the 11th October at the Warwick Credit Union Warwick Cup, which is set to be bigger and better than previous years. Organizer’s are keen to put Warwick on the map with a much wider reach with their promotions this year.

Two of Crisp’s coaches have the event promoted on the back window, which travel as far afield as Brisbane and Goondawindi. Plus there are 10,000 postcards set to hit the post boxes next week to remind our locals what a great event this can be and also to attract our city and coastal cousins. Further cooperative promotions include participation in a lift out in the Courier Mail plus further print, radio and television. Warwick Turf Club President, Mr Garry Adcock said, “This year celebrates our
148th Cup and the Committee is very keen to see this event grow into something truly dynamic.”

“We are very fortunate to have our long standing sponsors every year to make this event a success; however along with our regulars this year we have secured some new partners to assist with the catering.” The usual catering will be available from the Polocrosse Café on-course or you can choose to pre- book your requirements through one of the preferred Warwick Credit Union Warwick Cup providers who will provide a range of choices.

Due to liquor licensing requirements Warwick Turf Club is no longer able to stock and supply eskies of pre-purchased alcohol. Mr Adcock said, “Pre-sales will be available and serviced using drink cards through the introduction of our Fosters Beer and Wine Pavilion.”

People can simply come on the day, or they can book marqumarquee space, preorder their catering and sit back and enjoy the activities.

Tickets at the gate are $15 each, pre- booked marquee space is $35 pp or for tables of 10 a discounted rate of $300 per table applies.

The first race run of six race program kicks off at 1pm. Our Fashion Parade is at 2.30 and Fashions of the Field at 4.15pm. There are plenty of prizes
and lots of fun to have.
